Our Nerf Party

* I received a party pack from House Party and Nerf to host this party. I was not expected to blog about the party, and all opinions are my own.*

We were one of a select group of people who were selected to throw a Nerf Rebelle Party to kick off the new Nerf Rebelle line. I had heard mixed things about this line, including the girl darts were not as good. We are HUGE Nerf lovers in this family and I was looking forward to trying them out because I KNEW that Peanut would love them. When we were selected, we literally began the countdown to today.

Our Party Pack

We invited many of our friends, but knew that the kids in our apartment complex would come join in as we were playing. In total, we had 15 or 16 guns and over 200 darts. In our party there were 8 people (and then my 3 children) that came. However, we had another 7 or 8 kids from the neighborhood come play as well.
Loaded up and ready to go

And here they come

One guest brought sidewalk chalk for the toddlers

Girls coloring (they are a year apart)

Drink break (I didn't dare try to photograph during the food break)

After the food break!

Stop to play with the neighbor's dog

Okay, so I must say that the Nerf Rebelle Line is AWESOME. There is power behind the shots ... except the bow. I was extremely disappointed in the Heartbreak Bow. I was expecting it to be the best and the darts go absolutely no where. Hopefully, Nerf will make some changes to this "firearm."

As far as the party, it was a huge success. I am pretty sore after playing and hiking for darts. If you are wondering how much food we went through ...
  • 32 hot dogs
  • 20 hamburgers
  • 2 large bags of chips
  • 1 pan of brownies
  • 1 1/2 gallons of Tang
I think we only lost about 10-15 darts, which isn't too shabby!

If you were able to have  Nerf party ... what would you plan?
