Blogs I visit nearly daily ...

Blogs are something that have really started to pick up and some people view them as "hipster." I agree to a point. Some blogs have been around for years, while others have only been mainstream for a couple of years. More so, there are some blogs that have gotten their fandom from a video or picture that has gone viral. I want to talk about the blogs that I visit nearly every day. I follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and any other social media outlet they are on.

Daddy Doin' Work

The first blog I want to talk about is actually one that I began following after the Internet storm. This picture of his went viral and I read his post that followed it. Then I read another post ... and another ... and now I'm hooked. I am talking about Daddy Doin' Work. He has only been blogging for two years and yet his one picture and blog post took him mainstream. He is an identical twin and he is a blogger that my husband and I both love. Keep doin' what you're doin', Doyin!

My Life Suckers

The next blog I want to talk about is one that I only just recently started following. I am not sure how I didn't find her earlier ... oh wait, it's because her blog is still pretty new!! Her parody videos are HILARIOUS and her Facebook updates are even better. Deva and My Life Suckers is about life as a mom and the real life views ... rather than the sweet sappy picture people make it look like.

People I Want to Punch in the Throat

People I Want to Punch in the Throat is a blog that I have been following for nearly two years now. It all started with a post about Elf on the Shelf and overachieving moms. Now, don't get me wrong ... if you like Elf on the Shelf, more power to you. *I* do not. I hate feeling like I have to post pictures and do all this jazz or I am not a special mom. So ... here's to you Jen from my hometown for telling people like it is! You can also purchase her two books on Amazon for more laughs and tears (because it is so truthful it hurts).

 

Mommypalooza

Mommypalooza is writtten by my dear friend, Candy. I have no idea how we became good friends but I do know that it was when she was just starting KCMetromoms. We got to have a pregnancy together and she introduced me to Jiggle Jam. Lover of Coke, Disney, and technology ... I love the support she gives me in my blogging adventure.

Dine & Dish

Another longtime friend and blogger is Kristen from Dine & Dish. Her blog didn't start until 2007, but we have been friends since 2002. We actually met in a Yahoo group for Flylady's Flybabies in Johnson County. Dine and Dish is a food blog, but she also talks about photography and parenting.

Hayley Daily

The final blog that I follow daily is written by my older sister (on the left). The Hayley Daily began after she and my BIL returned from England and added a cat to their family. She blogs about life, traveling, having fun, and being a working woman.
