It has been awhile since I have posted. Thanksgiving and Christmas came in a whirlwind. Animal counts at work skyrocketed and hours of sleep plummeted. Now it is after the holidays and I am reclaiming my life. We have gotten a Wii (thanks to "Santa") and the kids have several other small tv games thanks to a good friend of mine. I would love to say that January has been uneventful, but that isn't the case. The past week I have been caring for an ill friend and have not spent much time at home, let alone on a computer. My coworker also has a friend in town so I was covering some hours. Next week I start watching my daughter's best friend for a couple hours after school for a few weeks and everyone is pretty stoked about that. Thursday is the school's skate party and since I am not working Thursday nights anymore, I can take Peanut and her friend. Of course, that will lead to a sleepover party and that is exciting. Friday, Bullfrog has a Cougar Club Preschool meeting at the school and he will get to start transitioning into school. I can't believe how big he is getting and the fact he can read. Blows my mind.
My house is slowly getting back in order from the holidays. We have finally moved the furniture around in the living room. Unfortunately our rat passed so we are going to clean that all up and put it in storage. Then it will be off to look for a table to eat dinner at. Have a bit more cleaning and purging and then my living room will be at a state where I can be happy with it. The prospect of watching children and infants for friends has helped my mood quite a bit. I am waiting for the weather to get a bit nicer and then I am going to fix up our patio a bit. Need to send a note to our main office to get Bullfrog's light fixed because they haven't done that yet. I keep telling myself that as soon as I get my house in order, I will pick up stitching up again, and I am looking forward to that. I miss cross-stitching.
Hopefully I will update more regularly. I have just been too caught up with everything to think about writing and I apologize. It does feel good to write, just not as good as stitching does!
